We are located on a quiet lane just off the A229 between Cranbrook and Hawkhurst.

The nearest train station is Staplehurst with regular trains to London (40mins) and Ashford (20 mins).

By car, we are about an hour from the Channel Tunnel, 50 minutes from Gatwick Airport, 1 hour 15 minutes from Heathrow Airport and 1 hour 30 minutes from Stansted Airport

CHECK IN: between 4:30pm and 7pm, other times by arrangement. Please telephone if you are unexpectedly delayed.

CHECK OUT: by 10am on the day of your departure.

NO SMOKING POLICY: We are a non-smoking household and have a strict no smoking policy in the house. Smoking is permitted in the garden.

CHILDREN: Children are welcome. However please be aware that we have a pond and they must be carefully supervised by parents at all times.

PETS: Unfortunately we are unable to accept guest dogs due to the risk they pose to some allergy sufferers. Guide Dogs accepted.

PARKING: There is ample Off Road parking and a secure area for bicycles available.


Our local restaurants are usually busy at the weekends so booking is advisable.

Orchard Way is a 1930’s house with recent additions. Three upstairs rooms are offered as guest accommodation. The doorways corridors and stairs are all standard sizes and therefore may not be ideal for disabled visitors. However all reasonable assistance will be offered by the proprietors to enable disabled guests to use the facilities available.

Additional Information

• In the event of fire smoke alarms will sound and we will shout ‘Fire’. Please advise us if you have a hearing impairment.

• Evacuation is via the stairs and out through the front door.

• Smoking is not permitted in the house but you may smoke in the garden.

• We are happy to refrigerate any medication.

• Mobile phone signals are good in this area.
